 After care is key!!!

Making sure you take care of your hair extensions is just as important  as the process in which they are applied.

Treat your hair extensions with the same respect as you would your natural hair, superior after care and regular maintenance will keep your hair looking and feeling great for longer and could also prevent having to by new hair every time you have a retie.

The first thing you may notice immediately after installation of your extensions and the next day or two, your scalp may feel tender. this is normal and will go away by the third day at the very most.

                                                              General Care

• you should brush your hair daily, root to tip with a tanggle teaser only! this is to ensure that you do not catch the weave with a normal brush and also to prevent tangling between the tracks of your weave.
• Tie your hair in a loose pony tail for bed.  If they are feeling dry apply  olive oil and a conditioning treatment midlength to ends and sleep in plats or a bun. Rince using a deep conditoning shampoo in the morning.
• Never wear your hair extentions for more then 2 months with out being retied, this could cause tanggling between the weave and scalp as your hair will have grown almost an inch by this time.

                                                           Washing

• You hair extensions should be washed between 1-2 days a week, as your hair extensions are not being nutritioned through the oils from your scalp as your natural hair would be.
• If you wish to wash your natural hair between this time, tie your hair extensions out of the way and wash your roots and the top of your hair.
• only use high conditioning shampoos and conditioners on your hair extensions to replace any oils that would have been washed out. ( avoid high detergent shampoo shuch as Head And Shoulders and T Jell as this will dry your hair extensions out).

                                                                           Styling

• After every wash  and before and after applying heat to your hair extentions, I recommend applying a deep conditioning and heat protecting syrum to replicate the oils that would naturaly coat the hair, this will keep your extensions soft silky and managable
  .
• When blow drying your hair section as you go and only point he hair dryer down to provent frizz and to keep a sleek look..
